Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 1st September 2026: The Moscow City Tourism Committee has officially launched Moscow MICE Rewards — a premier non-financial support initiative designed to help international event planners and MICE agencies elevate their business events in the Russian capital through exclusive destination benefits, cultural experiences, and delegate-focused services.
Who Can Apply?
The program is tailored exclusively for non-residents of the Russian Federation (companies without registered local branches or representative offices) operating as:
International MICE agencies and event planners
Incentive travel specialists and tour operators with MICE departments
Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs) and Travel Management Companies (TMCs)
“The launch of Moscow MICE Rewards marks a significant step forward in how we support our global partners. By offering these exclusive privileges, we aim to help international planners make their events in Moscow truly outstanding and unforgettable for their delegates,” said Anastasia Popova, Head of Business Tourism Development Department, Moscow City Tourism Committee.
Enhancing the Delegate Journey
The program serves not only as a support tool, but also as a way to enhance the overall delegate journey. It allows organizers to add a stronger destination component to their event, create a warmer first impression for participants, integrate Moscow’s cultural identity into the program, and offer guests experiences that extend beyond the business agenda.
Depending on the format and scale of the event, participants may receive welcome letters, Moscow gift sets, traditional welcome ceremonies at hotels, complimentary tickets to iconic city attractions, branded welcome banners, Moscow Tea Time stalls, AI photo points, VIP gift sets and cultural performances.
How It Works: A Transparent Scoring System
A transparent scoring system determines the level of support available to each event. Points are awarded based on key criteria, including the number of international participants, hotel category, duration of stay and the use of Moscow’s hospitality and event infrastructure.
Additional points are granted for including gala dinners, sightseeing activities, team-building programs, conference halls or unique venues in the event program.
The program also provides an additional advantage for certified Moscow MICE Ambassadors, recognizing professionals who have completed the certification program and are familiar with Moscow’s MICE opportunities.
